Deloris Ruth White, 85 years of age, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away on April 26, 2020, in Humansville, MO. She was born on May 17, 1934, in Stotts City, Missouri, to Ellen Martha (Donahue) and Pete Fleming. Deloris graduated high school from Springfield High School in 1951. Deloris married Lester Norman White on June 4, 1955. To this union, two children were born.
She worked numerous jobs in banking, retiring from Regions Bank in Springfield, MO, where she was the bank manager.
Deloris is survived by her son and his wife, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, one brother, and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband, Lester, who passed just a few weeks ago; one son: David; and nine siblings.
Due to travel and group restrictions associated wtih COVID-19, a memorial service will be held at a later date for both Lester and Deloris. Deloris will be laid to rest in a private burial next to her husband, Lester, at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield, MO, on Wednesday, April 29, 2020.
