Ramona Rosalene “Rose” Davis, 89, of Rock died on Saturday, October 31, 2020. Mrs. Davis was a homemaker and a member of Bible Baptist Church in Lashmeet. She loved to read, embroider and take care of her flowers. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family.
She was born on October 8, 1931 in Itmann to the late Curtis Hobert Clark (1903-1953) and Clara Saunders-Clark (Deceased). In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Duane Randolph Davis (1927-2009); sons, Thomas William Davis (1951-2020) and Duane Randolph "Junior" Davis (Deceased); sister, Iva Joyce Clark-Johnston (1923-1981); brothers, Clinton Clark (Deceased), William Clark (Deceased), Eugene Clark (Deceased) and Robert Clark (Deceased); and grandson, Randy Lee Davis (1981-1981); and great granddaughter, Alyssa Rose Davis (2009-2009).
Survivors include sons, Roger Davis & wife Rhonda Davis of Goochland, VA, Randy Davis & wife Emma Davis of Rock and Steve Davis & wife Patty Davos of Princeton; daughters, Joan Davis-Williams & husband Wayne Williams and Iva Joyce Davis-Reynolds & husband Frank Reynolds, all of Lashmeet; sisters, Phyllis Clark-Duncan of Lerona and Carolyn Clark-Wadkins of Princeton; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 6, 2020 at the Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home in Princeton with Rev. Randy Davis and Rev. Jimmy Cecil officiating. Interment will follow at Wesley Chapel Cemetery on Wright Mountain in Rock.
