Son of Joshua Abbe and Mary Ripley... married(1) Tryphena Bass.. 13 children including an infant son... Tryphena died in 1815 and soon after Joshua married Matilda King Rogers.. She had 4 children by her first marriage to Daniel Rogers.... Joshua and Matilda had 2 children.. Soon after Joshua's death Matilda married John Brotherton of Genesee County and died in 1839..Family records mention Pembroke N.Y. as a possible burial site but all indications point to Genesse county.. Over half of the children stayed in CT. in the Windham area.. May of served in the state or county Malitia as another family record is that Joshua was given a land grant for his service(??).. Several of his son-in-laws did serve in the War Between The Lakes(1812).. Joshua's first wife is most likely buried in Windham where his parents and several of the children are also buried...
