Richard Eugene Lamb, 63, of Dover, died Monday, April 27, 2020, at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. The son of Eugene and Wanda Lavene (Jackson) Lamb, he was born July 6, 1956, in Omaha, Nebraska.

Master Sargent Richard Lamb served in the United States Army and Army National Guard for 41 years during Operation Desert Storm, Desert Shield and Iraqi Freedom. Among the many ribbons and medals his military career garnered, he earned the Bronze Star Medal, a Noncommissioned Officer's Professional Development Ribbon (3), an Expert Rifle Marksmanship Badge, Global War on Terrorism Medal and the Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal.

He was a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association (NRA), and enjoyed riding his proud red Harley-Davidson he affectionately named, "Vanessa." He also enjoyed refinishing canon shells for his military buddies.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Randy Lamb. He is survived by his son, Richie Lamb of Fayetteville; his daughter, Katie Lamb Bellott (Jacob) and her mother, Jaquita Stark, both of Pottsville; two grandsons, Dallin Webb & Nix Bellott; a granddaughter, Berkley Lamb; his brother, Ron Lamb of Russellville; and his sister, Rhonda Lamb Phillips (Jerry) of Dardanelle.

A private graveside committal service will be held at Center Valley Memorial Gardens in Russellville, with final interment at the Fort Smith National Cemetery under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service. Rev. Rick Smith will officiate.
