She was united in marriage to Jessie Carter on November 21, 1962 in Steele, MO.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Dorothy Hawkins.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Jessie Carter of Steele, two sons, Millard Earl Carter and Christy of Steele, Jessie Glenn Carter and Mellissa of Steele, five grandchildren, Dustin Carter and Brooke of St. Louis, MO, Colton Carter of Cape Girardeau, MO, Jordan Carter and Jerrica of Steele, Logan Carter of Steele, Kailey Melynn Carter of Steele, two great-granddaughters, Winry Carter and Charlotte LaRue Carter.
Graveside services took place on April 24, 2020 at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele.
