Hoy Hoy, Franklin D., 93, of Boca Raton, died October 23, 2007. Formerly of Swansea, MA. Franklin Hoy was born in Fall River, MA. The son of the late Frank Hoy and late Lottie (Brightman) Hoy. He was a graduate of B.M.C. Durfee High School in Fall River. He was employed by the Fall River Fire Dept. for several years, and by the Fall River Post Office for 30 years, retiring in 1970. He was a veteran of W.W. II serving in the Navy Sea Bees. He was a member of the Boca Raton Rotary Club, and the Pompano Beach Shuffleboard Club. Mr. Hoy is survived by his wife and sweetheart of 67 years, Margaret (Burgess) Hoy, of Boca Raton. Also surviving are two sons, Frederick Hoy of Burlington NC, and Judge John Hoy (Alesia) of West Palm Beach; four grandchildren, Nikki Smith (Todd), Ashley Melendez (Joshua), Alex Hoy and Logan Hoy; and one great-grandson, Zachary Carper. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of Palm Beach. Funeral arrangements are still incomplete.
