Jean was born in Florence S.C. to the late Robert James Muldrow and Esther Hamilton Muldrow. She is predeceased by her husband Charles (Charlie) Hendrix her daughter Lynn Hendrix Howard her parents and brother Robert James (Bobbie) Muldrow. Survived by son Robert Hendrix Orlando. South Carolina nieces Kay McMillan Jane Muldrow Susan Rintz Sara Hegwood and Margaret Ganis. Orlando niece Nancy Fraser. Jean along with Charlie was a longtime volunteer and contributor to the Russell Home.
