Ronald E. Stuckman, 76, of the Good Samaritan Home cottages, formerly of 19 Hamilton Ave., died at 10:20 p.m., Friday (July 21, 2006) in Blessing Hospital.

Born January 26, 1930 in Quincy, Ronald was the son of Edgar and Dolores VandenBoom Stuckman. He married Arlene Winking on July 17, 1951 in Quincy. She survives.

Mr.Stuckman was a member of St. Dominic Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus and the G.C.I.U. Printer's Union. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and woodworking and was very active with the Boy Scouts, receiving the Silver Beaver Award. Mr. Stuckman served his country in the U. S. Air Force during the Korean War.

Mr. Stuckman worked as a printer for Art Craft, Royal Printing, J.K. Creative, McLaughlin Auto Supply and for 10 years at the Illinois Veterans Home until his retirement.

Visitation will be Monday evening from 4:00 to 7:00 and Tuesday until the time of services at the funeral home.
A Christian Wake Service will be held Monday evening at 4:00 at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 10:00 in the Zehender Robsinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home and at 10:30 in St. Dominic Catholic Church;
Rev. Tom Hagstrom officiating

Burial with military honors by Quincy American Legion Post 37 will be in Calvary Cemetery.
