Virginia Wright Ward, age 94 of Camden, TN passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 26, 2020 at Camden Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.
Ms. Ward was born on July 9, 1925 in Benton County to the late Marshall Wright and Elba Saunders Wright.
She was also preceded in death by a sister Bessie Lee Marsh, brother Harold Goff Wright and son Gary Allen Ward.
She was a longtime member of Natchez Trace Baptist Church.

Virginia enjoyed bird watching-especially hummingbirds and loved quilting constantly.
Her hands were rarely still.
She also shared her love for cooking with her grandkids, always making them their favorites from chicken and dumplings, chocolate pie, coconut cake or fried pies.
She loved her family and her grandchildren definitely held a special place in her heart.

Virginia will be sorely missed and survived by her daughter Faye (Marshall) Smith, sons Tony (Cathy) Ward, Billy (Sherry) Ward; grandchildren Rob Smith, Bryant Smith, Beth Grooms, Tiffany Renfro, Jenny Ritchey, Amber Ward, Brad Ward, Justin McKinnon, Michael Ward; six great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. All of these she loved and touched deeply.

Private graveside services will be held on Tuesday, April 28, 2020 at Benton Memory Gardens with Bro. Greg Stanford officiating.
