Geneva V. Thomas, 65 of Peak Ridge, Herndon, WV, passed away on Thursday April 23, 2020 at her home. She was a loving mother and grandmother.

She was born February 24, 1955 on Bud Mountain, WV, a daughter of the late Leonard Howard Thomas (1926-1969) and Mary Beatrice Lusk-Thomas-Burnecke (1932-1998). In addition to her mother she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Krislynn Nevaeh Rose Sizemore (Deceased); four sisters, Christine R. Thomas-Faulkner (1950-1990), Catherine "Cathy" Leona Thomas-Johnson-Meador (1952-2008), Thelma "Marie" Thomas (1953-2014), and Edna Mae Thomas (Deceased); two brothers, Oliver "Roscoe" Thomas (1959-2015), and Leonard Samuel Thomas Sr. (1956-1997).

Survivors include two daughters, Mary Marie Lesher & husband, Michael Lesher of Peak Ridge, and Melissa Dawn Brown & husband Dennis Brown of Shady Spring; two sons, Charlie Allen Hall & wife Kimberly Dawn Hall of Tracey's Mountain and Christopher Joseph Lee Sizemore & wife Stephanie Marie Sizemore of Mullens; a sister, Rella Thomas-Tingler & husband Robert Tingler of Princewick; a brother, Bernard Thomas of Bud Mountain; a sister-in-law, Angela "Angie" Mullins-Thomas (B. 1958) of New Richmond; fourteen grandchildren, Brian & wife Melissa, Shawn & wife Lilly, Zachary, Gabbrielle, Dakota, Alyssa, Colten, Rocky, Logan, Austin, Nicole, Christopher, Emma and Morgan; nine great grandchildren; and a host of other loving family and friends.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, April 29, 2020 at Hickory Ridge Cemetery, Bud, WV, with Rev. Vondie Cook officiating.
