2020 Apr 27 – Cadillac - Ronald Fay Oliver was born Friday 2 Dec 1949 in Cadillac to Milton Leo & Elnora L (Yager) Oliver. He graduated from Cadillac High School in 1968. Shortly after graduating from high school he joined the United States Army and served during the Vietnam War. After returning from his service to our country he worked on the family farm as well as having various jobs in the Cadillac area. His hobbies included fishing, mushroom hunting, going to the casino, playing cards and other games. He was a former member of the American Legion Post #94 in Cadillac.


Ronald Fay Oliver, of Tustin, died Monday morning 27 Apr 2020 at the age of 70 y 4 m 25 d Munson Healthcare Cadillac Hospital. Survivors include 2 children; 7 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; his mother; 3 siblings; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Milton 15 Oct 2016; 1 brother-in-law, Thomas Edward 'Tom' Afton 28 May 2011; and 1 nephew, Thomas Wade 'Tommy' Afton 26 Apr 2015.

Private family visitation took place prior to the graveside services. Graveside services and full military rites under the auspices of the Cadillac Area Honor Guard were held at Selma Township Cemetery.


Burial was in Selma Township Cemetery in Cadillac.
