Dianne R. Miller, 60, of East Syracuse, passed away on Monday April 27, 2020 at her home. She was born in Syracuse, New York on March 29, 1960 to the late Richard and T. Joanne Powell.
Dianne was an incredibly generous grandmother, mother, sister and friend. She loved nothing more than spoiling her granddaughters and was happily awaiting the birth of two more grandchildren on the way. Her thoughtfulness of others was incomparable. She would quietly give help whenever needed, never wanting credit for her kindness. Dianne was strong-willed and fiercely independent. She was an avid do-it-yourselfer who was so proud of her ability to tackle major home projects all on her own. Dianne will be missed and remembered fondly by all who knew and loved her.
Dianne is survived by her children, Leanne (Jason) Politi of Glenville, New York and David (Samantha) Miller of Camillus, New York; two grandchildren, Noelle and Ava. She is also survived by her siblings, Suzanne Powell of Palm Bay, Florida, and Richard Powell of Syracuse; and her great-aunt, Rita Ostrom.
Private services were held with Dianne's children. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date when we can all be together again. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Minoa. Delaney Greabell Adydan Funeral Home, East Syracuse has care of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to Dianne’s memory may be made to the American Heart Association.
