SPRINGFIELD, MA - Patricia J. “Pat” (Ricapito) Quinn, 82, of the East Springfield section of Springfield, was Called Safely Home on Tuesday, April 14, 2020. She passed into Eternal Life at home surrounded by the care and comfort of her loving family. She was born in Springfield on May 24, 1937, a beloved daughter of the late Ralph and Mary (Vona) Ricapito.

She was raised in Springfield, attended Springfield Technical High School and was a lifelong resident of Springfield. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother to her family. She was a communicant of the former Our Lady of Hope Church in Springfield. During her leisure time, she enjoyed playing cards with her friends and trying her luck at many local bingo games and casinos. Along with her family, she cherished picnics every Sunday at Holland Pond in Holland and their annual trips to Soundview Beach in Old Lyme, Connecticut.

Above all, she loved spending time with her family and friends. She was predeceased by her beloved husband and best friend, Roland “Quinn” E. Quinn, Sr. who was Called Home on October 17, 1986. They were married on August 8, 1955 in Springfield and were blessed with over 31 years of happiness together.

She leaves her five loving children, Roland E. “Sonny” Quinn Jr. and his wife, Cheryl, of Springfield, Robert “Rob” L. Quinn of Boston, Kim M. Quinn and her companion, Paul Gowey, of Middleburg, FL, Richard A. Quinn of Springfield and Michele S. Quinn and her husband, Duane Olko, of Hastings-On-Hudson, NY; her five cherished granddaughters, Stephanie Quinn and her wife, Nikeya Lowery, Melissa Quinn and her companion, Jay Rether, Jennifer Quinn and her companion, Mike Pemberton, Elizabeth March and Kristi Jarvis; her ten cherished great-grandchildren, Trevon, Tyler, Logen, Austin, Mckayla, Isabella, Mia, Taysia, Matthew and Brayden; and his many dear nephews, nieces, cousins, friends and extended members of the Quinn and Ricapito families. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also predeceased by her dear brother; and her four dear sisters.

Her funeral services and burial will be private at Saint Michael Cemetery in Springfield MA
