He and his wife of 49 years, Sheila, have been part of the Patchogue community since purchasing Two Morrow's Pub in 1977. Two Morrow's has been not only a part of the Morrow family for 40+ years, but it is part of so many locals history ( stopping in with their dad, first beer, first date, St.Patrick's Day, proposals, celebrations and friendships).
His 'Piggy' platter is legendary as well as the warm Irish pub setting it is served in. He and Sheila have always been generous in supporting and helping the community in any way they were able. From donations for various community charities to sponsoring local softball, volleyball, golf and dart teams, to entering a few contests here and there (chili cook off, soup(er) bowl & the annual Irish soda bread competition).
Bobby and Shelia are past Grand Marshall's of the 2011 St. Patrick's Day parade, an honor that was not taken lightly, but a privilege that they still continue to celebrate and support with all the festivities.
He is survived by Shelia, and 6 children; Sandra, Nancy, Eileen, Liam, Timothy and Daniel, all of whom have worked or are currently still working at TMP. His family extends his sister and in-laws as well as 6 grandkids and nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews as far as any Irish family tree can spread.
There will be a private burial on Wednesday, April 29, 2020 at St. John of God Cemetery in Central Islip. His 'Irish Send Off' will be following a memorial mass when it is safe for us all to be together again. Be warned, we promised him it would be epic.
