Marie Carver Weaver, 85, of 1815 Lucy Garrett Rd., died Saturday, April 25, 2020. Born in Person County, Mrs. Weaver was the daughter of the late Archie Bradsher and Willie Duncan Carver and wife of the late Junius Coy Weaver. Mrs. Weaver previously worked at Cole's Pharmacy and the Handi Cupboard and was a member of Theresa Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her brother Archie Buck Carver and her sister, Peggy Jeffrey.
Mrs. Weaver is survived by her children, Larry Weaver and wife Katie, of Roxboro, Lila Weaver Jones and husband Brandon, of Vale, Bradsher Weaver and wife Debbie and Mark Weaver and wife Vickie, all of Roxboro; three grandchildren, Allen Weaver and wife Tori, Paul Weaver and Ashley Weaver; four great-grandchildren, Noelani Weaver, Ailina Weaver, Halia Weaver and Makala Weaver.
Graveside services will be held 2PM Tuesday, April 28, 2020, at Theresa Baptist Church Cemetery by the Rev. Herbert Brown. The family will receive friends at the home of Mark and Vickie Weaver, 1779 Lucy Garrett Rd., Roxboro.
Due to the Executive Order regarding the COVID-19, the attendance will be limited to 50 people.
Pallbearers will be Tim Wade, Michael Brandon, Sammy Brandon, Joshua Wade, Bernie Carver, and Jeffrey Paul.
