SHIRLEY VICTORIA HARMON (GIPSON) Shirley passed away on July 26, 2018, in Richland, WA. She was born in Pasco, WA on April 26, 1933, to James and Emma Gipson. She worked most her life in retail and prior to retirement, she was manager of Hickory Farms, in Kennewick. She was married to her beloved husband, Vernon Harmon, for 68 years. Shirley had many interests in life. When she was younger, she enjoyed traveling to the coast, Disneyland, and had a trip of a lifetime across the United States. During her later years, she thoroughly enjoyed playing cards with friends, scrabble, and reading. She was very passionate about spending time with family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her husband Vernon Harmon, her children Vicki Miller, Karen Dopps and her husband, Doug, Timothy Harmon, Michael Harmon and his wife, Tanya, along with several grandchildren and great grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be held August 11, 2018, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., at Chiawana Park, in Pasco. In lieu of flowers, we ask you donate to Mid-Columbia Libraries, in Shirley's name.
