Brother and sister in law James Bo Roberson and B.J. of Dalton, their son, Stanley Robertson.

In earlier years Lewis worked with Foremost Construction as a steel hanger, for the City of Adairsville Water Department and for Bartow Paving Company. For many years now, we have owned and operated Huckabee Bonding Company of Calhoun. We had the pleasure of working together 7 days a week for 28 years. Lewis was a larger than life figure in his own right. In the last few days, I’ve received so many calls and texts from people that had crossed paths with him. Over the years he has extended kindness and help to so many, and never let it come to light. That was just his way.

This is a crushing and devastating loss for our family. Lewis was a gentle giant and the strength that kept our family lifted up and taken care of. Our youngest grandchildren have became our entire lifes focus. Lewis and I were thrilled at news that Jesse was about to have us a grandson and I had never seen Lewis happier. Andrew and his Poppy are completely and eternally bonded, as Lewis had retired in order to be full time caregiver to Andrew while our daughter and son in law worked and attended University.
Andrew was Lewis pride and joy. Their relationship was so beyond beautiful and there are just no other words. Andrew is about to turn five, and the little fellow just wants his poppy.

Lewis and I shared a love that was and is untouchable. He was my every breath and without a doubt he loved me more than any woman deserves. Over the years we renewed our vows of love and faith many times. Once on the open sea off the southern coast of Nassau, again on the Gulf Coast, on the Southern Belle Riverboat in Tennessee and many more. These were moments that are imprinted on my soul. He loved me enough to take my hand and reaffirm our relationship in the presence of God.
Through 30 years of marriage, we never had a short word with each other. The hard times were handled with prayer and deep contemplation of what could make the situation better. The good times were celebrated with prayers of thanks and gratitude, laughter, hugs, smiles and endless love.

Pallbearers will be Rex Evans, Tripp Powell, Allen Lewis, David Bogue, Josh Young, and Blake Young.

Honorary Pallbearers are P.J. House, Cody House, Joseph Morris, Scotty Parker, Bobby Decker, Chris Johnson, Brandon Johnson, Patrick Morris and Andrew Morris.
