PUCKETT, James Brown, a resident of /Wetumpka, Alabama passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at the age of 77. The family will receive friends Sunday, July 21, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. with the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. at Gassett Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Winston Brooks officiating. Burial will be at Forest Hills Cemetery in Snowdoun, Alabama with Gassett Funeral Home of Wetumpka directing.
Mr. Puckett is preceded in death by his mother, Opal White Puckett; father, Melvin Puckett; brother, Carroll Puckett; sister, Melva Joyce Puckett and brother in law, Olan Brooks. He is survived by his wife, Annie Louise Puckett; Children, Todd Puckett, Scott Puckett, Vicki Jackson, Wesley (Jan) Dennis, Wanda (Floyd) Wood, Darlene (Leon) Williams; siblings, Wanda Brooks, Larry (Beverly) Puckett, Sue (Ronald) Glasgow, Patricia (Hank) Haynes, Roger (Joyce) Puckett; sister-in-law, Betty Puckett; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers, Floyd Wood, Leon Williams, Fred Payne, Joshua Williams, Jennifer Wood, Adam Dennis, Wesley Dennis and James Sanders. Honorary pallbearer, Corey McGough. Mr. Puckett was a Free Mason, Shiner for over 35 years and avid bowler.
