Karen Hayden, 70, passed away on October 16, 2016 surrounded by family at her home in Buckley, Washington.

She was born Karen Kay Chimento on October 1, 1946 to Louis Daniel and Luella Maxine Chimento.

She moved to Washington from California in 1980, living on the plateau in Enumclaw from 1996-2005 and then in Buckley since 2005.

Karen worked as an accountant before semi-retiring, then worked at PICC (Pediatric Interim Care Center) serving drug exposed infants and while there she fell in love with every baby that came thru the door. She enjoyed sewing, working in the garden, and spending time with family as often as possible. Karen will be missed by her family and many friends she met over the years.

Karen is survived by her sons Jerry Fox of Buckley and Ray "Pete" Fox of Enumclaw; daughter Tisha Fox of Buckley; sister Myla Kersting of Redondo Beach, California; sisters-in-law Devon Chimento of Lake Havasu City, Arizona and Marilyn Williams of Poulsbo, Washington; 10 grandkids; 5 great grandkids; and too many nephews, nieces, and other family members to mention, but she loved them all.

Karen was preceded in death by two husbands Jerry Fox Sr. and Glenn Hayden Jr.; her companion Tracy Dormady; brother Louis Chimento Jr.; and stepdaughter Debbie Hayden.
