Sherman Dean Anderson

     Parma — Our father, grandfather, great grandfather, answer man, fix it man and teacher to many passed away Sunday Feb 2, 2014 at a local hospital.

     He is the son of Rodger and Lynette Anderson of Ontario, Oregon. Born and raised in Nyssa Oregon, he graduated from Nyssa High School and left to find his way. After serving time in the Navy he ended up in Southern California, where he lived, worked, played and raised his family until his retirement. He recently moved to Parma to be near his children and his birthplace.

     He is survived by his 2 sons Vernon (Liz) Anderson of Parma, Id. Jeremy (Melinda) Anderson of Brookings, Or. 3 daughters Aleena Anderson of Klamath Falls, Or. Leza (Jose) Lopez of Portland, Or. Debbie Anderson (Patti Andrews) of Boise, Id. 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Brothers Glenn (Donna) Anderson of Pocatello, Richard (Ellen) Anderson of Ontario, Lynn (Patti) Anderson of Utah, Duane (Khris) Anderson of Ontario. Sisters Carol Lawrence of Kuna, Becky (Trev) Wheeler of Nampa. Numerous nieces and nephews.

      He was preceded in death by his parents Rodger and Lynette Anderson and his sister Darlene Anderson and his brother in law Ed Lawrence, a nephew and great nephew.

     Dad you are our hero and forever will be a pillar of strength to our family. Your influence in our lives and that of your friends will shine daily. You were always willing to lend a helping hand and share your knowledge and made many friends throughout your life. In your life you have served as a role model for those who needed one and made the world a little better for us all. We will all miss you each and every day, you will be forever in our hearts. Love you DAD!


     Graveside service will be held Thursday Feb 13 at 11 am in Nyssa Oregon.
