Cecil married Victoria G. Rich of Rumford, ME on February 16, 1963, and had 57 years of marriage and two sons. They moved to Weathersfield in 1971, where they lived for 36 years.
From 1971 to 2007, he ran the Ascutney Sunoco Service Station for six years, worked at Cone Blanchard Machinery in Windsor, and then retired from the White River Postal Department in 2002, after 20 years as a rural carrier.
Upon retirement, he and his wife enjoyed snowbirding to Florida and then would spend three months in Texas with their sons. Cecil was a great fan of sports (especially all Boston pro-teams). He also enjoyed reading and his 20 years of square dancing. When he moved to San Antonio, TX in 2015, he found a Western channel, and that's all he ever watched. He was a loving husband, dad, grandfather and great grandfather.
Cecil was predeceased by his parents and his step mother Edith Green.
He is survived by his wife Vicki; and two sons, Michael and Jeffrey of San Antonio, TX; sister Judy Holt of Springvale, AR; one beautiful granddaughter Kelly Tweeten of Waco, TX; and three adorable great granddaughters, Whitney, Sophia, Luna; and nieces and nephews.
Cecil will be laid to rest in the Ascutneyville Cemetery with a date to be determined.
