Robert (Bob) J. Holly, 87, passed away peacefully at Hospice of Dayton, July 17, 2016. Bob is survived by Kathryn (Ann) his loving wife of 61 years and many nieces and nephews. Bob was the Assistant Postmaster of Fairborn when he retired after a long and fulfilling career. Bob and his family loved traveling to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan where they vacationed many summers. Fishing and enjoying the lovely scenery were always a highlight. He loved to garden and was a permanent fixture with Ann at the Yellow Springs Farmers Market on Saturday mornings for many years. He will be truly missed. Please join Ann in celebration of Bob's life, Wednesday July 20, 2016 from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. at Mary, Help of Christian Church at 954 N. Maple, Fairborn, Ohio. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 a.m. Bob will be buried at St. Paul's cemetery in Yellow Springs next to his parents, his brother, Joseph, and his sister, Elizabeth. Memorial gifts in Bob's name can be made to Mary, Help of Christian Church, Fairborn, Ohio.
