Marvin Hill was born on June 24th 1952 to Columbus Harris and Eula Clayton -Hill, in St. Louis, Missouri. He was the youngest of 5 children.
Marvin was born and raised in St. Louis and he received his education through the St. Louis public school system.
Marvin then joined the Marine Corps in 1970. He served 2 years as a mortarman in the Vietnam war. Marvin received a National defense service metal, Rifle marksman badge and a Pistol marksman badge.
Marvin moved to Madison, Wi in the early 1980's with his god brother Lynn (Lillie) and Harvey Thompson. Shortly after he met the love of his life, his wife Sherry Kraus-Hill. They were married on October 28th 1996.
Marvin was proceeded in death by his wife Sherry Kraus- Hill, Mother Eula Hill, Father Columbus Harris, Brothers Lawrence Johnson, Victor "vic" Hill, Richard Hill and Sister Alvina "Shirley" Harvey- Hill.
Marvin leaves behind to cherish his memory Daughter Rochelle Lewis and Marissa Harris, Son Marvin Harris II, Grandchildren Adeja and Dajon Shannon, Marvin III and Markeese Harris, Akahi, Jahzeil and Jaxton Willis. As well as a host of cousin, nieces, nephews and friends.
