Need help with burial location/cemetery name.

s/o Charles Edward Abney (1850-1914) and Sarah Alice Gliddon. He married July 2, 1914 Janet Bentley, dau. of William Littlejohn of Aberdeen.

Their children were 1) William Edward Charles Wootton Abney (1921-1997) and Annabel Constance Wootton Abney (1916-

Henry C W Abney (1881-1953) was Marine Superintendent of the P&O Ocean Shipping line.

As Heir to Measham Hall it was sold in the 1920's to the Measham Colliery Company who used the family home for the mine managers and then, after the 2nd World War, it was turned into flats. In 1959 the main building, Measham Hall, was demolished as being unsafe with the mine activity underground.

In the town of Measham, very near where Measham Hall once stood, the property developer has named the streets after the Abney family.
