Jerrod Lee Fowler's life on this planet began at the Carlsbad Medical Center on January 6, 1986, to proud parents Judy Kyle Fowler and Corey Fowler.

Jerrod graduated from Artesia High School in May of 2004, playing football for the Bulldogs, which was a dream of his since he was a little boy. He was also a member of the S.A.E., the A Club and the Academic Decathlon in High School, a member of the Snake Shakers; and was active in the youth group at First United Methodist Church. His passion for sports, hunting and fishing was only complete when he was joined by his "best buds". Jerrod loved spending time with all his family and friends. He was employed by Leaco Communications.

Jerrod is survived by his mother, Judy Kyle Fowler of Artesia; his father Corey Fowler of Roswell; his grandparents Charles and Wanda Kyle, and Bill and Arlene Fowler all of Artesia; sister Erica Zamarron, her husband Rafael and their son Landen of Artesia; and sister Kyla Fowler of Artesia. Other family members include half sisters Larrissa and Breanna Fowler of Roswell, aunt Scherrie Towler of Roswell, uncle Jim Spence of Cottonwood, uncle Billy and aunt Donna Fowler of Albuquerque and many cousins who will miss Jerrod terribly. He was preceded in death by his aunt Cheryl Kyle Spence and aunt Diana Fowler Delgado.
