Cody Dillon Thompson, age 23, of Cookeville passed away suddenly on Wednesday, April 22, 2020 at his residence.
He was born Saturday, June 29, 1996 in Cookeville, Tennessee. He loved music and the guitar, going to the gun range, but more importantly making his friends and people laugh.
Cody is survived by his parents Tim (Jonamie) Thompson and Wendy (Brandon) Gaumont, brother, Collin Gaumont, sisters, Heather Thompson, Kristen Thompson Militello and Rylee Thompson, grandparents, Brenda Hutchinson, Donald and Linda Gaumont.
Cody was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bill Hutchinson, Tommy Sr. and Wanda Thompson.
Due to Covid-19 there will be no service and have arranged for cremation through Presley Funeral Home. The Family asks that donations be made in Cody’s honor to Council of Americana Roots Music at jamminathippiejacks.com/donations. There will be a Celebration of Life scheduled in the future.
