Brenda Sue Wood, 74, of Anderson, passed away on April 21, 2020, at her residence.
She was born on Oct. 29, 1946, in Lumberton, North Carolina, to William and Hilda (Skipper) McLean.
Brenda retired from Guide after many years of service. She loved NASCAR and her pets.
She is survived by her daughters, Tamara (Tami) Jackson Parsons of Pittsboro, Anissa (Randy) Hollon of Anderson; granddaughter, Gabrielle Parson; siblings, Sharon Taylor, Mike McLean, Johnny McLean, Cindy McLean; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, LeAnn Kellams and Cindy Hillery.
Brenda was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, William McLean; and nephew, Mickie McLean.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory.
