Lora worked as an administrative assistant for Amtrak for 30 years before retiring. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Beech Grove, Indiana. Lora was a devoted caregiver and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Lora is survived by her children, Donna Peterson, Thomas Craig (Magaly) Parker, John (Deanna) Sauter, Dawn (Ron) Haboush and Mark (Amy) Parker; grandchildren, Clayton, Thomas, Brad, Bart, Brian, Briana, Evan, Nicolas, Anthony, Austin, Casey, Courteney, Jaxson and Kinzley; and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, John T. Parker; parents, Gabriel B. and Bessie M. Choate; and several siblings.
Private services are being handled by Little & Sons Funeral Home - Beech Grove.
