CHESAPEAKE - Ernestine D. Wilkens, 71, of the 900 block of Westgate Court, a retired presser, died Feb. 14, 1995, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.

Mrs. Wilkens was born in South Norfolk and retired from Albano Cleaners 15 years ago after 32 years of service. She was a member of First Baptist Church South Hill in Chesapeake, the Pastor's Aid Committee, Women's Fellowship and was a Sunday School member.

Survivors include her husband, William J. Wilkens Sr.; three daughters, Agnes W. Clark, Jacqueline W. Green and Shevelle Wilkens, all of Chesapeake; a son, William J. Wilkens Jr. of Chesapeake; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a cousin, Theresa Goodwin of Philadelphia; and a host of relatives and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at noon Monday in First Baptist Church South Hill, Chesapeake, by the Rev. Michael R. Toliver. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Gardens, Virginia Beach. Viewing will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Pretlow's Funeral Home, and from 10 a.m. to noon Monday at the church. Family and friends will assemble at 900 Westgate Court, Chesapeake, at 11:15 a.m. for the processional to the church.
