Dwight “Butch” Bailey, 73, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 21, 2020 at Hospice of East Texas. Born in Lindale, TX to Lee Crawford and Vera Bailey, he lived most of his life in Tyler with his wife of 38 years, Pat. Butch was a loving father to his daughter, Amy Staines (with husband Jon) and his son, Jody Bailey (with wife Aimee). He was also a proud PawPaw to his granddaughters Kaitlyn Morris (with husband Waylon) and Kasity Staines, grandsons Ethan, Thomas, Joshua, and Simon Bailey, and great-granddaughter Sailor Morris.
He was preceded in death by his brothers J.W. Bailey, Donald “Knot” Bailey, and Chester Bailey and is survived by his sisters Frances “Tip” Frazier, Vera Jo Richards, Fannie Mitchell, and Peggy Campagne.
