Born August 29, 1933 in Lincoln County, he was the son of the late Roach and Janie Schronce Hendricks. James served in the Army during the Korean War. He was retired from Broyhill Furniture. In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
