John was a Loving Husband, Father and PaPa. As he lived a full life of work and adventures he acquired a list of lifetime friendships with many that would call him Friend and Brother as well.
He attended High School at Northwest Classen High School graduating in 1959. Over the years John worked for Hudiburgh Chevrolet, Mideke Supply, Cresent Market in Nichols Hills, Nabisco and Stanley Air Tools before going to work for General Motors where he retired as a Tooling and Trade Supervisor in 2003.
John had many interests and hobbies including hunting and fishing, CB radios, Scuba Diving and Scuba Instructing, Playing Polo, Bowling with the Moose Lodge and Golfing at the Elks Lodge, but his Passion was his horses. John raised, bred and ran Quarter Horses and Paints for over 50 years.
John was a member of Liberty Baptist Church of Shawnee where he filled many roles, Cooking and Serving for the Men's Prayer Breakfast, Community Thanksgiving and Christmas Dinners, as well as singing at the local nursing homes with fellow church members. He also sang in the Choir and assisted with Sunday morning offering. Oh how he loved his church Family.
On May 29, 1969 John married his High School Sweetheart and the love of his life Lois Ann and they were blessed with sharing 50 amazing years of Love, Laughter and Adventures together with their familyand friends.
John is survived by his wife Lois Ann (Holman) Gee, his children Michelle and husband Stephen Kuchera of Marland, OK and Melanie and husband Jim Noonan of Kellyville, OK, his daughters from a previous marriage. Jennifer Rachelle and husband Howard Brown of Prague, OK, John Gregory and Kim Gee of Shawnee, OK and his 11 grandchildren; brother Ronnie Gee, sister Peggy Mauldin, and a number of nieces and nephews.
The viewing will be held at Walker Funeral Home in Shawnee, OK and he will be laid to rest at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery in Oklahoma City.
