Owen James "O.J." Crotzer of Commerce died Friday, June 20, 2003, at his residence. He was 29.

Crotzer was born July 10, 1973, in Miami to James Joseph Crotzer and Geneva Lee (Buergey) Crotzer. He was employed by Eagle Home Services. He was a member of the Spring River Indian Baptist Church of Quapaw.

His wife, Penny Crotzer of Miami, survives.

Additional survivors include his parents; three brothers, Jeff Crotzer of Arkansas and Christopher Crotzer and Nicholas Scott Smith, both of Haysville, Kan.; four sisters, Season Ridge of Kansas City, Mo., Tracy Mullin of Idaho, Jackie Rawlins of Seneca, Mo., and Leanne Pennington of Tulsa; two sons, Christopher Snyder of Miami and James Snyder of Commerce, and one daughter, Hollie Snyder of Miami.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Victor William and Minnie Track Griffin of Quapaw, and his grandparents, Jack and Lilian Ardena Buergey of Quapaw and Horace and Betty Crotzer of Miami

Services will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday at Spring River Indian Baptist Church southeast of Quapaw. Burial will be at the Buergey Cemetery in Quapaw.

Pallbearers will be Brian White, Charlie Burtram and Lenny Skye. The body will lie in state at his home at 502 N. River in Commerce until the times of the service.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Paul Thomas Funeral Home of Picher.
