Craig Steven Taylor (CT) was born June 6, 1964, to James S. Taylor and Minerva (Whitley) Taylor. Craig was the 12th child of the 13. He was born in Pine Bluff, Arkansas and moved to Kansas City, Kansas in 1973. Craig was educated in the Kansas City, Kansas School District and was baptized at the Community Baptist Church in Kansas City, Kansas.
Craig enjoyed life, he worked at Kamer Office Furniture for 24 years, until his health started to fell. He loved to travel, and did lots of traveling though his job. Craig loved our Family Reunions, he attended all the reunions. He was always involved in helping other. He loved his dogs, cars and trucks, he would always have a Bar-B-Que on his birthday. As a young man, Craig bought and paid for his home.
In the 1980’s, Craig met and married Michelle Doris Taylor to this union two daughters were born.
Preceding Craig in death: his parents, James S. Taylor and Minerva (Whitley) Taylor; one brother, Nathaniel Sidney Taylor; two sisters, Herbye L. Taylor Lewis; and Mary Elizabeth Taylor Baker; two nephews, Brian K. Hicks, Jr.; and Antonio Taylor.
Craig is survived by: his wife, Michelle Taylor, Kansas City, Kansas; his two daughters, Ashley Nicole Taylor; and Arica Monique Taylor, Kansas City, Kansas; his six grandchildren, De’Arica Michelle M. Fowlers; Kha’le Edward Stokes; Jaiden Michael Alt; Niya Nicole Stokes; Aiden Mitchell Alt; and Kiya Irie Stokes; all of Kansas City, Kansas; six brothers, James L. Taylor, Denver, Colorado; Verlee Taylor, Grandview, Missouri; Leonder Taylor, Omaha, Nebraska; Thomas Daniel Taylor; and Daniel Lee Taylor, Raytown, Missouri; three sisters, Erma L. Taylor Moye (Lloyd), Kansas City, Kansas; Alma J. Taylor Davis (Fred), Grandview, Missouri; and Jacquelyn M. Taylor Royal, Kansas City, Missouri; a host of nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephew, cousins and friends.
