Anna T. (Winfield) Bush, was the daughter of Henry Cornelius and Mary (Wilson) Winfield, the family eventually settled in Canadice, Ontario County, New York, where Anna attended school. In Canadice she met and married on October 25, 1843, William T. Bush, son of Cornelius and Esther (Angel) Ter Bush. Between 1850 and 1860, William & Anna moved with other members of both the Ter Bush and Winfield families to Michigan. After moving to Michigan their name was changed from Ter Bush, to Bush, but family members retained the T of Ter as a middle initial, for example, William Ter Bush became William T. Bush.
