YORK Norman H. Dennis, Jr., 84, died Sunday, August 12, 2007, at the residence of his daughter, Jennifer and son-in-law, Robert Trimmer. He was the husband of the late Jean E. (Keeny) Dennis. Mr. Dennis was retired from American Chain Co. after 35 years employment and from York Wallpaper Co. He was a U.S. Army veteran having served in WWII. He was a member of the Prince Athletic Assoc., Viking Athletic Assoc. and Shiloh American Legion. He was a big Nascar fan. Born in York County, on April 20, 1923, he was the son of the late Norman and Jennie (Shue) Dennis. He leaves a daughter, Jennifer M. Trimmer of Strinestown; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a brother, Harvey T. Dennis of York. He was preceded in death by two sons, Terry L. Dennis and Robert L. Dennis; a grandson, Kevin E. Trimmer; and a great-grandson, Davey Swartz. Visitation will be 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at Koller Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., 2000 W. Market St., in York. The service will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Officiating will be Reverend Richard B. Starr. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery with military rites performed by the York County Veterans Honor Guard.
