She was a graduate of King High School Class of 1982 and worked at various restaurants in the Tampa area. She was also a Candy Stripper at St. Joseph Hospital. In 2004, Juanita began working for the Hillsborough County Public School System at Sand Pine Elementary and Quail Hollow Elementary as a custodian. After moving to Ft. Myers in 2014 she worked for the Lee County Public School System at San Carlos Elementary until her untimely passing.
Juanita enjoyed Arts and Crafts and making personal gifts for family and friends. She loved camping, boating and walking the beach to collect seashells.
She is survived by her loving husband, Robert D. “Doug” Davis of Ft. Myers, FL; 9 brothers and sisters, Veronica Olivero Fulton (the late Jerry Fulton), Francis Olivero, Jr., Reuben Olivero (Catherine), Daniel Olivero, Stephen Olivero, Melinda Olivero Slyh (Daniel), Kevin Olivero (Crystal), Joseph Olivero (Maite) and Cynthia Olivero; her stepmother, Carolyn Olson and numerous nieces and nephews.
Due to current gathering limitations stemming from the Coronavirus, a celebration of life service will be scheduled at a later date and will be announced.
