Bruce Hampton Ramsey, 76, Gadsden, died Thursday, December 5th, 2018.

Graveside services will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, December 8, 2018, at Ramsey Cemetery. Vince Ramsey will officiate. Village Chapel Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Ramsey was a veteran of the United States Army, and he served 2 tours in Vietnam. His decorations, medals and citations included the National Defense Service Medal, Expert (Rifle), Vietnam Service Medal w/8 bronze avc stars, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Good Conduct Medal (3d Awd), Bronze Star medal, and 5 O/S Bars. He was a truck driver for most of his life and gold prospecting was his only hobby.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marianna E. Ramsey; son, Bernhard Ács; parents, Alfred and Ruby Ramsey; and siblings, Lamona Click, Tracy Ramsey, and Arris Ramsey.

Bruce is survived by his sons, Laszlo (Rhetta) Ács, Richard (Anita) Ramsey, Chris (Louise) Ramsey; daughter-in-law, June Mitsuhashi; 9 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren; siblings, Wayne Ramsey, Joe Ramsey, John Ramsey,
Dale Ramsey, Wanda Haney, Virginia Stanfield, Linda White, and Patricia Duke; and friend and ex-wife, Celia Faye Bowen.

Pallbearers will be Kevin Ramsey, Damon White, Keith Ramsey, Brandon Ramsey, Cordell Haywood, Lance Ramsey, Matthew Ramsey, and Chris Ramsey.
