Esther Mae Goodin Watson, 89, of Columbia died Thursday, April 23, 2020 at the Summit Manor Nursing Home. Born in Adair County she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Lottie Redman Goodin and wife of the late William Watson. Mrs. Watson was of the Christian faith.

Survivors include a sister Margie Vaughn of Columbia; her brother-in-law Phillip Watson (Jane) of Columbia; her sisters-in-law Jane Brockman of Columbia, Margaret Mooney (LaWayne) of Oklahoma and Barbara Dixon (Paul) of Columbia; several nieces and nephews also survive.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a son Randy Watson and a brother Chester Goodin.

Due to Covid-19 virus and in accordance with Governor Beshear’s orders and the CDC, there will be a private graveside service on Monday at the Haven Hill Cemetery. Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
