Mr. Billy Dean Stephens, 85, of Omega, died Saturday, January 11, 2020, at Tift Regional Medical Center in Tifton.
Funeral services were on Wednesday, January 15, 2020, in the chapel of Albritton Funeral Directors with Rev. D Smith and Dr. D Ray officiated with interment following in Omega City Cemetery.
Mr. Stephens was born on January 30, 1934, to the late Gerald Clifford Stephens and Alnes Canady Stephens in Colquitt County. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister; Jean Daniels and his brother, Earl Stephens.
Mr. Stephens was a member of Antioch Baptist Church and was a hard-working retired farmer who had lived in Omega all of his life. He loved being outdoors and providing for his family in which he did an excellent job. He loved his family dearly especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of sixty-five years Janice Marie Warren of Omega, his children; Rodney and Tammy of Omega, Tim and Jenni of Ty Ty, Julie and Stan of Leesburg, Terry and Cindy of Scooterville and Jill and Bill of Leesburg, nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a sister and brother-in-law; Geralene and Ed of Leesburg and many nieces and nephews.
