TIMOTHY "RAMBO" DALE CARPENTER, age 52, of Sewanee, Tenn., departed this life on Tuesday, April 21, 2020, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn., following an extended illness. Mr. Carpenter was born in Sewanee, Tenn., on May 12, 1967, to the late Ambros Carpenter and Velma Gass Carpenter. He was a member of the Sewanee Volunteer Fire Dept. for 35 years. Mr. Carpenter was employed from May 2002 until June 2016 as a Correction Officer for the Franklin County Sheriff's Dept. before becoming disabled. Mr. Carpenter enjoyed fishing, traveling and spending time with his friends.

He is survived by his friends; Crystal Shetters of Sherwood, Michelle Sanders and husband, Tim of Tracy City, Paul Haney of Sherwood, Dylan McClure and Matthew Gilliam of Sewanee, Special friends; Chief David Green of Sewanee and Chuck Stines of Cowan.
