Margie “Frances” Morgan, age 85 of Douglasville, passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2020. She was born in Austell, GA on May 05, 1934, daughter of the late Horace L. Queen and the late Margie Nell Edwards Queen. Frances was a retired floral designer and was the owner of Fran’s Duncan Flower Den in Mableton, Georgia. She was a former member and past president of Provost Guard Ladies. Frances was Baptist by faith.
She is survived by her husband of 35 years, William “Bill” Morgan; son: Mark Duncan and his wife, Mamie; daughter-in-law: Gail Duncan; grandchildren: Sabrina Duncan, Kyle Duncan and his wife, Valerie, Justin Duncan, Hayden Duncan; great grandchildren: Georgia Duncan, Clark Duncan; sister: Gail Queen McGraw and her husband, Kelly; numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by the father of her children, Hoyt Duncan; son: Hoyt Glenn Duncan; sisters: Juanita Wofford, Debra Gilham; brother: Leonard Queens, Sr.
A private graveside service will be held at Georgia Memorial Park on Monday, April 27, 2020 with Mr. Joe Fowler officiating.
