Clarence Gene Haynes of Heavener, Oklahoma was born March 7, 1944 in Braggs, Oklahoma to Clarence and Helen (Davidson) Haynes and passed away April 14, 2016 in Heavener, Oklahoma at the age of 72.

He is survived by:
Three daughters:
Leslie Browand and husband Gary of Owasso, Oklahoma
Natalie Clark and husband Glen of Hulbert, Oklahoma
Diana Almond of Bentonville, Arkansas
Two sisters:
Judy Rowland of Hot Springs, Arkansas
Robin Smith of Fort Smith, Arkansas
One brother:
Randy Haynes of Heavener, Oklahoma
Eight grandchildren:
Avery, Connor, Ashton, Clay, Robbie, Reagan, Tyler, and Emily
Several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends
He was preceded in death by his parents. Gene was a life-long resident of the area. He was a retired conductor for the Kansas City Southern Railroad. Gene was a veteran of the U.S. Army where he served his country with the 82nd Air Borne during the Vietnam Era. He loved to hunt, fish, fly, and work in his gun shop.
Memorial service will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, April 18, 2016 at Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. David Butler officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.
