Born in Ware Shoals, he was a son of the late Charles Marshall and Katie Bell Gunnells Hall. He was a member of Eastside Baptist Church in Laurens. Leon was a kind and loving person who would do anything for anybody.
Surviving in addition to his wife of the home are: three brothers, Charles (Jan) Hall, Jr., of Lake City AR, David Hall of Dacusville, and Ernest Hall of McCormick. He was predeceased by two brothers, James and Robert Hall.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, February 5, 2015 at Parker-White Funeral Home with Rev. David Putnam officiating. Burial will be private.
The family is at the home and will receive friends 1-2 p.m. Thursday prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Laurens County Special Needs and Disability Board, PO Box 986, Laurens, SC 29360.
