Daughter of the late Vance and Azlie Wilson.* She started the library at Morningside Baptist Church and then spent her later working years employed by the Chatham County Public School System as a Library Worker at Schuman Middle School. After retirement, she was a member of Southside Baptist Church and was a volunteer at the Salvation Army on Bee Road. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walker K Harmon; daughter, Kay Pharis, who was married to the Reverend Tommy Pharis of Guyton, GA; and two brothers, Elbert (Bud) and Vance Jr. Wilson of Savannah. Surviving are her sons, William E Harmon (Lois) of Goose Creek, SC, and Thomas C Harmon (Kathy) of Savannah, GA; sister, Louise White of Covington, GA; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
