Full of life and genuine, “Mike” was a likeable guy with a gentle nature; he was laid back and slow to anger. A country boy at heart, he enjoyed camping trips and being on the river, ziplining and riding the open road on his motorcycle; his love for the outdoors eventually led him to his work with trees as an arborist, which became a lifelong passion. “Mike” could light up a room with laughter with his comedic ability, his story telling captured the focus of listeners and entertained family gatherings often. He had a natural gift when it came to building things and an eye for junk that could be turned into treasure. Known was “Paw-Paw Mike” to his grand babies, If he was surrounded by his family and dogs, he was a happy man; he was beloved by his family and they were his true treasure.
