Brenda was born August 13, 1961 in Ravenna, Ohio to the union of Roy "Farmer" Burrell and Helen Jenkins Burrell. Brenda was a 1980 graduate of Ravenna High School. Brenda gave her life, was baptized and followed the Christian faith. She loved to study the Bible, worship, and praise the Lord with her fellow Christian family. Through her faith, Brenda found inspiration and a comfort in the Lord.

Many families recall from years ago, Brenda as the smiling, courteous Pizza Hut hostess and server. Many people fondly recall that she made the family dining experience a pleasant and wonderful treat for children and families.

While Brenda was hardworking and held a variety of jobs and positions throughout her life, she recently retired from Northeast Ohio Eye Surgeons after 15 years where she worked as a Surgical Counselor. Brenda was a dedicated and valued employee of the organization. Her bosses and co-workers were like a second family. She appreciated and enjoyed their camaraderie and the time they shared. Brenda was an extremely hard worker with many gifts and talents. Her favorite activities and pastimes included traveling, scrapbooking, baking, interior decorating, holding yard sales, and bringing her family together by hosting gatherings at her beautiful home. She was an active parent and grandparent who loved to attend and support the children's events and activities.

Brenda was a respected and former member of the Women's Social Club of Kent. While a member, she used her gifts and talents to further the mission of philanthropic and social activities for the club.

Brenda was known for her beautiful smile, laugh, her sense of humor, her work ethic, and her giving, loving and caring ways. She possessed that special gift of making each person she encountered feel special. She was adored by her family, friends, and strangers she met along the way.

Brenda is survived by her devoted husband of 37 years, Charles H. Peoples, her sons Quenton D. Burrell, and Charles A.
