Deaconess Sister Wilma Kay Love, age 69, of Johnson City (TN) was born on December 18, 1950 to the late Clyde Russel Stevens and Thelma “Bill” Fields. Sis. Kay departed to eternal life on April 17, 2020 at Johnson City Medical Center, Johnson City (TN). Sis. Kay was a faithful member of Grace Temple Church Eternal Life Center. She served as a Sunday School teacher, a member of the Health Care Ministry, Altar Team and head of the Kitchen Ministry. She worked at the Asbury Center and in the home healthcare field as a Certified Nursing Assistant for over 25 years. Sis. Kay was well known for her famous collection of Holiday Barbie Dolls and Danielle Steele Books. In her spare time, she loved to work crossroad puzzles. In addition to her parents Sis. Kay was preceded in death by her siblings Michael Fields, Melvin Stevens, Arletha “Argo” Adams, Mary Frances “Frankie” Roberts, Pam McKinney, Jerry Stevens, Debora Bonner, and Janice Spurgeon and father-in-law Charles W. Love, Sr. Those left to cherish her memory include her loving, devoted husband Charles W. “Buzzy” Love, Jr. Daughters Daniele Martin (Isaac), Jonesborough and Sharon Lyon (Bart), Johnson City, sons Charles Love, III (Belinda), Knoxville, Brian Love (Tiffany), Johnson City, along with her siblings Clyde Russel Fields (Danita), Baltimore (MD), Carrie Bell Johnson, Johnson City, Freddie Fields (Jackie), Murfreesboro, Renee Robinson (Fred), Johnson City, Joey “Buck” Adams (Marga), Johnson City, Jessica Bradley, Jackson. Her mother-in-law Barbara Watterson (Richard), Johnson City, brothers-in-law Lynn Love, Farmington (NM), Keith Love (Mary), Grove City (OH), Steve Love, Johnson City, Robert Love (Linda), Johnson City, Robert McKinney, Johnson City, Kenneth Bonner, Johnson City, and Billy Spurgeon, Johnson City, sisters-in-law Marcina Smith (deceased), Elizabeth Murphy (James), Johnson City, and Paula Stevens, Johnson City, a special sister Sandra Scott (Mark), Johnson City, and three adopted sons Deon Love, Bristol, Robbie Hale, Inman (SC), and Travis Kidd, Atlanta (GA). Thirteen grandchildren Tara, Nolan, Charles IV (Autumn), Gabrielle, Jason, Ian, Ievan, Bowden, Briley, Alyssa, Pyrnzess, Kamiyah, and Gabrion, one great-grandson Charles V, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
