A lifelong resident of Fort Plain, NY, Wayne attended local schools and was a hard worker all his life. He along with his family owned and operated Zelson Farms until their retirement. Wayne enjoyed bowling, golfing, wood working and furniture building. He was known by many and beloved by all; he will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
He was predeceased by his sister, Elaine Cook, brother-in-law, Jack Green, sister-in-law, Clara Duesler.
Survivors include his wife of nearly 54 years, the former Beverly Duesler, his three children, Brenda (Ben Green) Hoke, Tammy Flaherty and Stacey (Mary) Hudson; his siblings, Roger (Janet) Hudson, Sandy Green and Bonnie (Ron Smith) Hudson; 8 Grandchildren: Ashley (James) Agard, Ryan Hoke, Briana (Timothy) McGuire, Juliana Hoke, Kelly (Ronald) Bramer, Richelle Fuhs, Bailey Hudson and Stacey Ray Hudson II; 14 Great Grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Private Service of Remembrance for immediate family will take place on Tuesday 04/28/2020 at F. B. Pratt & Son Funeral Home, 601 South St, Newberry, SC 29108. Burial will take place on the family plot at the Freysbush Cemetery.
