Leroy Reed was born December 4, 1927 and passed away April 21, 2020 at the age of 92.
Lee was one of six children born to Roy and Ora Reed. He was married to Lennie Mae Reed who preceded him in death in December, 2019. Together they worshiped the Lord as often as they could.
He was born in Macedonia, Illinois and later moved to northern Illinois where he retired from Fansteel located in North Chicago.
Lee is survived by three daughters, Cindy (Reed) Bishop, Nancy (Reed) Wilson, Joyce (Reed) Cadwallader; three step-daughters, Gloria Dean Calloway, Linda Jean Brannon, Judith Rena Brannon; brothers Robert (Bob) Reed, Curtis Reed and wife Janet; several nieces, nephews, and grandchildren including Tara Brannon and Curtis Lewis who lovingly cared for him in his last days.
Lee was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, sisters Darlene (Reed) Nalley and Pearl (Reed) Blackwell, and brother Orval (Buck) Reed.
A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 29, 2020 at Bradshaw & Range Funeral Home, Waukegan, IL. Interment will be at North Shore Garden Cemetery, North Chicago, IL.
